CLINTON WILL NOT TESTIFY ON BENGHAZI

John Bolton, former U.N. Ambassador, said that Clinton’s claim that she had fainted because of the flu, hit her head and suffered a concussion, was what foreign service officers call a “diplomatic illness,” intended to free a diplomat from an unpleasant duty.

Clinton was supposed to appear before congressional foreign affairs committees to respond to questions about whether security failures opened the way for the Sept. 11 attack.

Bolton said, “This is a diplomatic illness to beat the band. I mean, I hope it’s nothing serious. But this was revealed in a way that I think was not transparent and I think there is an obligation here.”

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton won't testify to next week on Benghazi, after fainting and suffering a concussion Saturday and due to her ongoing stomach ailment.

Philippe Reines, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, said, "While suffering from a stomach virus, Secretary Clinton became dehydrated and fainted, sustaining a concussion. She has been recovering at home and will continue to be monitored regularly by her doctors. At their recommendation, she will continue to work from home next week, staying in regular contact with Department and other officials. She is looking forward to being back in the office soon."

Bill Burns and Tom Nides, both Deputy Secretaries of State,  will testify in Clinton's place, according to John Kerry, Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman.

Jodi Seth. Kerry spokeswoman, said, "Secretary Clinton's team contacted Senator Kerry this morning to inform them of the Secretary's concussion. Senator Kerry was relieved to hear that the Secretary is on the mend, but he insisted that given her condition, she could not and should not appear on Thursday as previously planned, and that the nation's best interests are served by the report and hearings proceeding as scheduled with senior officials appearing in her place."

Previous Report

First Clinton will testify then she wont...or rather...may not testify before the House and Senate foreign relations committees.

Even worse, it has been revealed that the State Department may not even present its own internal review on Benghazi to Congress for review by those select committees.

The Accountability Review Board, led by Tom Pickering and Mike Mullen, has not completed its investigation according to State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland. Nuland added that Clinton has not agreed to testify.

However, Clinton has agreed to "brief" the respective foreign relations committees in both chambers of Congress on how she "interprets" the report when it is completed.

Nuland stated the review board will report to Clinton. After that, Clinton will meet with Congress to discuss her conclusions and solutions to implement in the field.
